Meet The Coaches
Michelle recently moved back to the Rochester area after working for two years as an assistant coach at Lehigh University, a Division I institution in Bethlehem, PA. Her team won the Patriot League Championship and advanced to the NCAA Regional at UCLA in 2017. She played softball at Stanford University while pursuing a bachelor's degree. She also played at Virginia Tech while pursuing her master’s degree. Michelle played for Victor High School and took hitting lessons from Coach Chris during high school. Having seen the college recruiting process as both an athlete and as a coach, Michelle has a good understanding of the process and is passionate about helping local student-athletes find and prepare for whatever their "next level" of softball is. Michelle is currently a medical student at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Chris is the Baseball & Softball Director at Pinnacle Athletics. He is responsible for overall management of the travel softball program, planning softball academies, and is the lead one-on-one hitting and fielding instructor. His coaching experience dates back to the early 2000’s as an instructor at the Original Rochester Frozen Ropes and MCC Softball. Although his most famous student is his son, Cito, who was drafted by the New York Yankees and is currently playing in AAA, many of the athletes that he coached have played at higher levels of baseball and softball. Chris has the vision and passion to get Pinnacle Softball to a high level.
Dave has been involved in coaching baseball and softball at various levels since 1984, and began coaching travel softball in 1999. For the past 6 seasons, he was, and currently is, the program hitting instructor at Victor Central Schools. Victor won 3 Section V championships, made 1 NY State Final 4 appearance and won 1 NY State championship in Dave’s 6 years as an assistant. During the 2018 NY State championship season, Victor hit 30 Home Runs. In addition to his role as a hitting instructor, Dave is the lead Catching instructor for Pinnacle’s Catching academies and Pinnacle Travel Softball. When Dave is on the coaching staff, Leaning and Fun co-exist.

Like Michelle, Stacy took hitting lessons from Coach Chris during high school and began her coaching career in 2016 as an assistant with a local travel program.
